Description
Start Date: April 27, 2026
Location: Greenville, South Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 5:1 patient ratio, weekend coverage required
Highlights:
- Work with a diverse surgical patient population including ENT, plastics, general surgery, surgical oncology, and colorectal cases
- 32-bed unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
- Manage complex post-operative care including tracheostomies, wound vacs, ostomies, PICC lines, and surgical drains
- Epic EMR system with Omnicell medication management
- Paid pre-assignment modules and orientation (up to 16 billable hours)
- Adult and geriatric patient population with robust clinical resources
Requirements:
- Active South Carolina RN license
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
- Competency with specialized equipment: wound vacs, PCA pumps, PICC lines, surgical drains, and ostomy care
- Experience with blood product administration, central line management, IV therapy, heparin, and insulin protocols
- Willingness to float to other qualified units based on census needs
