Location: Augusta, Georgia

Schedule: 36 or 48 hour guarantee per week; 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period; flexible self-scheduling

Highlights:

• 16-bed cardiac telemetry unit with average daily census of 16 patients
• 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio across all shifts
• Epic charting system required; Pyxis and SBAR utilized
• Comprehensive patient population including post-MI, heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, and peripheral vascular disease
• Extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of experience

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact State RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; experience with 1:5 patient ratios
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in cardiac telemetry, EKG interpretation, management of dysrhythmias, IV protocols, central line management, chest tubes, wound care, and isolation precautions
• Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred at submission
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccination not required
• Willingness to float within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Availability to work assigned holidays per facility policy
