Location: Winston-Salem, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week. On-call coverage as needed based on workload. Four weekend shifts required within a 6-week timeframe.

Highlights:

• Work in a large respiratory care department practicing at the top of their license across Med/Surg, ICU Step-Down, and possibly Emergency Department settings
• Patient population includes adolescents to geriatrics with diverse respiratory conditions including COPD and COVID-19 management
• EPIC EMR experience required for seamless documentation and workflow
• 13-week contract with orientation provided during day shifts before transitioning to nights
• Hands-on experience with advanced equipment including Servo I, Servo U, Hamilton T1, V60, and ABG machines
• Floating within the medical center only, no external facility requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory care experience in ER, Adult ICU, Med/Surg, or ICU/Stepdown settings
• Active North Carolina or Compact state license with RRT credentials (CRT not accepted)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (NRP preferred)
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Proficiency in airway management, ventilator management, medication administration, ABGs, O2 therapy, suctioning, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer treatments, BiPAP, CPAP, Vest Therapy, Meta-neb, PAP therapy, and heated high-flow oxygen
• First-time travelers accepted; locals considered at adjusted rate
