Schedule: Night shift (3x12-hour shifts), weekdays and some weekends; 4:1 patient ratio

Highlights:

• Progressive Care Unit with mixed medical-surgical and PCU transitional beds

• 36-hour orientation provided with ongoing team support
• Float opportunities to lower acuity units within the organization as needed

Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN license or valid Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
• BLS certification required; IV certification required
• EPIC experience strongly preferred
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Strong skills in dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV starts and maintenance, PICC line management, peripheral line care, chest tube management, and oxygen administration
• Experience with medical-surgical and PCU procedures including Foleys, IV antibiotics, paracentesis, and isolation precautions
• 2 professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership role)
• Travel nursing experience is a plus

Important Information:

Compliance & Credentialing: There is a strict compliance deadline the Tuesday prior to start date. Ohio fingerprinting must be completed immediately upon contract signing. Candidates outside Ohio but within driving distance must travel to an Ohio fingerprinting location as soon as possible after booking. Those at extreme distances will receive a mailed fingerprinting packet requiring urgent completion. Unresponsive or uncooperative travelers risk assignment push or cancellation.

Additional Requirements: Time off must be requested and approved at time of submission. Former employees are eligible after being away from the organization for 6 months or more. Current employees are ineligible for travel assignments at this location.

Vaccination Requirements: Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required.
