Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: Days (3x12 hour shifts), weekdays and some weekends; 3-4 weekend days per month

Highlights:

• Mixed medical-surgical PCU unit with 6 transitional beds; 27-bed unit with varied case mix including general medicine, organ failure, substance withdrawal, and behavioral concerns
• 4:1 patient ratio across all shifts
• EPIC EMR charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including rapid response teams, pharmacy, respiratory services, and physical therapy
• 36-hour orientation provided; may float to lower acuity units within the organization as needed
• Advanced procedural experience including PICC lines, chest tubes, IV therapy, and bedside paracentesis
• Care for adult and geriatric populations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN license (compact or state license in hand at time of application)
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification and IV certification required
• EPIC experience preferred
• Skills required: MS/Tele, PCU/Stepdown experience, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, peripheral and PICC line management, IV starts and maintenance, oxygen administration, isolation precautions
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking abilities
• Travel nursing experience is a plus
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)

• Ohio fingerprinting process must be completed immediately upon signing contract
• Candidates currently outside Ohio but within driving distance must travel to an Ohio fingerprinting location as soon as possible after booking
• Two professional references required: at least one must be from a manager, director, or formal supervisor; charge RN acceptable for second reference
• Former employees eligible after 6+ months away from facility; current employees are ineligible for travel assignments
