Location: Jersey City, New Jersey
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 13-week assignment, 35.25 hours per week, every other weekend required

Highlights:

• Specialize in fresh open heart surgical patients including CABG, valve replacements, and TAVR procedures
• Patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3 based on acuity; fresh cardiac open heart patients are 1:1
• Work with advanced cardiac support technologies including intra-aortic balloon pumps and Impella devices
• Epic electronic medical records system
• Floating to CCU/CTICU, ICU, and stepdown units as needed
• First-time travelers welcome

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Active New Jersey or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
• Current ACLS, BLS, and Stroke CEU certifications required
• Demonstrated experience with fresh open heart surgical patients, CABG, intra-aortic balloon pump, Impella, TAVR, and valve replacement procedures
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage CVVHD/CRRT
• Must be available to work 2 of 3 holidays during assignment
