Job Opportunity – Interventional Radiology Technologist – Indiana

Start Date: May 11, 2026
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Full-time position with on-call requirement every 3rd or 4th weekend (Friday 5:30 PM through Monday 7:00 AM)

Highlights:

  • Work in a state-of-the-art department with 4 IR rooms featuring 2 single-plane and 2 bi-plane Siemens C-arms
  • Dual-tech model: one technologist circulates while the other scrubs in each room
  • Level 1 trauma, stroke, and PE designated facility with comprehensive vascular and neuro interventional services
  • Diverse case mix including angiograms, embolizations, thrombectomies, stent placements, nephrostomy tubes, IVC filters, and central line insertions
  • Proficiency required in both peripheral vascular IR and nerovascular IR procedures
  • First-time travelers accepted; Cerner EMR experience preferred

Requirements:

  • Active Indiana Radiologic Technologist license (must be in hand prior to start date)
  • ARRT (R) and ARRT (VI) certifications required
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum 2 years of IR experience with strong competency in both peripheral and neuro interventional procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to scrub cases including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, peripherals, drainages, upper and lower extremity procedures, abdominal and pelvic interventions, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological studies
  • Advanced skill level (3s and 4s) required for neuro interventional procedures
  • Experience with Siemens equipment strongly preferred
  • Level 1 trauma experience preferred
  • Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
  • Two supervisor references required for submission
