Description
Start Date: May 18, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts with variable weekend coverage based on unit needs. Self-scheduling requests are accepted with final schedules balanced by staffing priorities every 4-week period. Staffing ratios goal of 1:4, may extend to 1:5.
Highlights:
- 36-bed Hematology Oncology unit specializing in lymphoma, multiple myeloma, acute and chronic leukemias, sickle cell disease, and other hematologic conditions
- Med/Surg experience required; oncology experience preferred but not required
- ONS certification preferred and eligible for compensation enhancement
- Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, rapid response teams, social services, and more
- 72-hour orientation program with dedicated preceptor support on the unit
- Float opportunities to other Med/Surg and Oncology units for skill diversity
Requirements:
- Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license in hand at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg or Telemetry experience, with at least 1 year of current specialty experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in telemetry interpretation, IV therapy, central line management, blood product administration, and chemotherapy handling
- Epic charting experience required
- Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or formal supervisor
- Completion of Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing
