Highlights:

• Work in an academic medical center environment providing comprehensive respiratory care
• Manage diverse patient populations including adult critical care, pediatric, emergency department, and neonatal cases
• EPIC electronic health record system in use
• Participate in both inter-hospital and intra-hospital patient transport
• Oversee respiratory therapy technicians and lead all respiratory care modalities
• Perform cardio-respiratory diagnostics and therapeutic procedures under physician direction

Requirements:

• Active New York State Respiratory Therapist License with current CE profile and no disciplinary actions
• Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program (minimum Associate Degree)
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in an academic medical center setting
• EPIC electronic health record experience required
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS certification preferred
• Pediatric and adult critical care skills highly desirable
• Emergency department and neonatal patient management experience desirable
• Patient transport experience (inter- and intra-hospital)
• Strong communication skills and ability to navigate electronic medical records
