Description
Start Date: June 1, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Self-scheduling with flexible day, night, or rotating shift options; 36-hour orientation with preceptor; 12-hour shifts
Highlights:
- Mixed acuity 48-bed unit with approximately 24 Progressive Care Unit (PCU) beds and 24 Medical Surgical Telemetry beds
- Patient ratios of 1:3 for PCU and 1:4-5 for MS Telemetry
- Oncology experience preferred but not required – training opportunities available including a 2-day chemotherapy competency course
- High-acuity medical oncology patient population with a variety of diagnoses including solid tumors and blood cancers
- Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory services, physical therapy, and rapid response teams
- Self-scheduling system allows you to enter preferred shifts before final schedule posting
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience; at least 1 year of current specialty experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred
- Epic charting system experience required
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Willingness to float to other Medical Surgical Telemetry units as needed
- Two professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership)
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
