Job Opportunity – Cath Lab Technologist – Alaska

Start Date: ASAP
Location: Alaska
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 4x10 hour day shifts; on-call 1 shift per week and every 4th weekend; some Saturdays required as part of regular schedule

• Diverse case mix including diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath, STEMI, structural heart (TAVR, Mitral Clip, PFO), interventional radiology, neurointervention, and CRM device implants
• Float opportunities within scope to Interventional Radiology and Electrophysiology labs
• Advanced procedures including Impella, Tandem Heart, IABP, stroke thrombectomy, and temporary LVAD support
• Epic charting system in a 407-bed acute care hospital
• Guaranteed 70 hours per 2-week period

Requirements:

• RCIS or ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Required experience: Electrophysiology, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, Cardiac Monitoring, and Neuro procedures
• Epic charting system experience strongly preferred
• Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Current Alaska state license or ability to obtain (processing takes 10-12 weeks)
• Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declination not accepted)
• Willing to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
