Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required; patient ratio 1:2-3

Highlights:

• 15-bed Medical Surgical ICU with average daily census of 12 patients
• Diverse critical care case mix including sepsis, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, DKA, acute kidney disease, and complex surgical cases
• Epic EMR system with interdisciplinary team support including IV therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Specialized procedures including CRRT, Targeted Temperature Management, chest tubes, and continuous IV infusions
• Comprehensive orientation with module-based training tailored to specialty
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of experience

Requirements:

• Current Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience; travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with patient ratios of 2-3 patients
• Strong skills in ventilator management, arterial and central line care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, vasoactive drip titration, and blood product administration
• Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred at time of submission
• Ability to float within facility and scope of practice as needed
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date to meet bi-weekly orientation schedule
