Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular OR Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: April 27, 2026

Location: Augusta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 13-week travel assignment with every other weekend rotation. Overnight call approximately 2 times per week after shift; regular day call approximately once per month (13-15 days per month total). Weekend call shifts approximately 2 per month. Rare floating to Main OR may be required.

Highlights:

  • Specialize in endovascular and vascular service line procedures including EVAR
  • 1:1 patient ratio working with adult to geriatric population
  • Epic charting system preferred; Pyxis medication management in use
  • OR scrubs provided by the facility
  • Maximum 7 days of requested time off available (blackout dates: Spring Break April 4-12)
  • First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience

Requirements:

  • Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of application
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular OR nursing experience
  • Endovascular experience strongly preferred; familiarity with EVAR procedures required
  • Experience with CSI and Penumbra equipment preferred
  • Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred at submission
  • Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
  • Must be available to complete compliance documents and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
