Location: Jackson, Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM; call 1 night per week (14 hours, 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and every 4th–5th weekend Saturday & Sunday (48 hours, 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)

Highlights:

• Work with a comprehensive cardiovascular and thoracic surgery program including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, ECMO, Impella, and robotic-assisted procedures
• Daily patient volume of 3–4 cases with 1:1 patient ratio
• Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months required; must pass competency exam
• 36-hour orientation with full interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response, and more
• Contract duration approximately 13 weeks with one pre-approved time off period
• 692-bed facility offering exposure to adult and geriatric patient populations

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• Valid Compact or Tennessee state RN license at time of submission
• Epic charting experience within the last 12 months (must be explicitly documented)
• Broad knowledge and competency in cardiovascular and thoracic procedures including CABG, MVR, AVR, TVR, ECMO, TAVR, TCAR, Impella insertion/removal, laser lead extraction, and thoracic/lung surgeries
• Cardiovascular and thoracic robotic surgery experience (Da Vinci Xi system) required
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only); flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Professional references required at time of submission
• Men must be clean-shaven to pass fit test requirements
