Location: Hood River, Oregon

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend; float coverage to nearby facilities as needed

• Critical Access facility with Level III Trauma Center designation and 25 staffed beds
• Patient ratios follow AWHONN standards: 1:1 active labor, 1:3 postpartum
• Low-risk perinatal care with Level 1 Nursery, daily census typically 2-5 patients

• 36 hours of orientation provided; scrubs available in select departments

Requirements:

• Active Oregon RN license or eligibility to obtain (may submit with license pending)
• Minimum 1 year LDRP experience; 2 years preferred
• Current certifications: BLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring, and NRP required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Core clinical skills: epidural anesthesia, magnesium sulfate therapy, non-stress tests, Pitocin administration, external fetal monitoring, sterile vaginal exams, triage of obstetrical patients, and recognition/treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
• Reliable personal vehicle required for this assignment
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years

Note: Flexibility to float between sister facilities may be required based on staffing needs. Holiday commitment required: must work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). Requested time off should be submitted during the application process; up to 6 days or 3 consecutive days can be auto-approved.
