Location: Apple Valley, California
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts; every other weekend (may exceed based on unit needs); no on-call required

Highlights:

• Level III NICU with 190 births per month and 14-bed capacity
• Care for neonates and infants including prematurity, RDS, and feeders and growers
• Epic charting system in a 212-bed acute care hospital
• Interdisciplinary support including phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, and social services
• Experience with high-frequency ventilators, oscillators, CPAP/BIPAP, central lines, and smart pumps
• 36 hours of orientation; free parking provided

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience; at least 1 year in NICU specialty required
• Current BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
• Skills required: Bubble CPAP, central line care and blood draw, high-frequency ventilation, oscillators, ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP), and PICC lines
• Experience with titrating dopamine, central lines, and isolette/warmer management
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• LA fire card within the last 30 days
