Location: Salisbury, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (18:45 - 07:15), Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. 36 hours per week. Weekend schedule consists of Saturday, Sunday, and Monday coverage. Call and float requirements based on patient census.

Highlights:

• Fast-paced cardiac telemetry and stroke unit with 78-90 patient turnovers per week
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 with team lead support for admissions and discharges
• Manage pre/post cardiac procedures including pacemaker implantation, cardiac catheterization, and peripheral vascular interventions
• Titrate multiple cardiac drips including Cardizem, Dopamine, and Amiodarone
• Epic charting system with 36-hour orientation
• 13-week contracts available; first-time travelers accepted

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of cardiac telemetry experience with high acuity ratios
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• Active North Carolina or Compact state RN license
• IV start and telemetry skills; comfortable managing cardiac drips and pre/post-procedure patients
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
• PCU/stepdown experience preferred but not required
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
