Description
Start Date: April 27, 2026
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts; 2 weekends per month; 1 summer holiday and 2 winter holidays required; floating to other ICUs as needed
Highlights:
- 16-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit specializing in post-operative cardiac surgery and advanced devices
- Patient ratios of 1:2, with 1:1 for select device patients
- High-volume cardiac surgery program with 5 full-time surgeons and 24/7 intensivist coverage
- Advanced equipment and procedures including ECMO, Centrimags, HM3 LVADs, IABP, Impella, and CRRT
- Meditech documentation system with Phillips bedside telemetry and Alaris IV pumps
- HCA Unit of Distinction Award Winner and Daisy Award Recipient
Requirements:
- Current RN license in Tennessee or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical care experience with CVICU background required
- Proficiency with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring required
- Experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT preferred
