Start Date: As soon as possible (positions starting late April/May 2026)

Location: Alexandria, Louisiana

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, night shift, every other weekend required, no on-call

Highlights:

• Mixed cardiac and medical ICU with diverse patient population including DKA, acute respiratory failure, MIs, CABGs, and ventilator management
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1 for ICU patients and 4:1 for IMCU patients
• No floating requirement – dedicated unit assignment
• Hands-on experience with advanced critical care equipment including Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps, Impellas, and CRRT
• Post-operative cardiovascular surgery patient care
• Temp-to-perm opportunity available with potential for long-term placement

Requirements:

• Active RN License in Louisiana or compact state
• BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification from AHA required
• Experience with Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps, Impellas, post-op cardiovascular surgeries, and CRRT strongly preferred
• One year of Critical Care experience preferred; new graduates will be considered
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
