Job Opportunity – Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Northern California

Start Date: May 18, 2026
Location: Eureka, California
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Call coverage required; floating to outpatient department may be required

Highlights:

  • Perform a diverse range of nuclear medicine procedures including PET scans, HIDA scans, gastric emptying studies, ventilation/perfusion scans, and whole body imaging
  • Work with Epic charting system in a hospital-based setting
  • 40-hour orientation program to ensure successful onboarding
  • Interdisciplinary support including IV teams, radiology, pharmacy, lift teams, and rapid response teams
  • One pre-approved time off period available during assignment
  • May float to affiliate facilities in the region to support patient care needs

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
  • Active California license required at time of submission
  • ARRT N and/or NMTCB certification required (CNMT also accepted)
  • Epic charting system experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in IV starts and maintenance, radiation safety protocols, and isolation precautions
  • Experience with 3-phase imaging, Siemens equipment, and full scope of nuclear medicine procedures
  • Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty
  • Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
