Requirements:

Active Georgia RN license in good standing
Knowledge and adherence to the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act
Commitment to ANA Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics standards
Perioperative nursing experience preferred

Charge Nurse are helpful. Great school benefits.

Cons

Not organized, DON of unit not compassionate. Sometimes they don't have a Charge Nurse on day shift. They automatically send new patients to the unit with no report given! The nurse assignments is not based on acuity. Etc
