Job Opportunity – Critical Care / Cardiac Nurse – Tennessee

Start Date: April 27, 2026

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 4-week scheduling cycles with 3-4 weekend shifts per period; 2:1 patient ratios in a 32-bed unit; floating as needed based on facility census

Highlights:

• Specialized 12-bed cardiogenic shock program with dedicated providers
• Advanced cardiac interventions including PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring, IABP, and Impella support
• Procedures on unit include central line and swan insertion, intubations, and CRRT
• Meditech documentation system with Phillips telemetry monitoring and Hill-Rom beds
• Collaborative unit culture with engaged staff, Nurse Practice Council, and Daisy Award recognition
• Student nurse externs available as techs; unit secretary support Monday-Friday

Requirements:

• Strong critical care nursing experience required
• Cardiac experience mandatory
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with advanced cardiac support devices preferred (PA catheters, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP, Impella, CRRT)
• Current nursing license in good standing
