Job Opportunity – Respiratory Therapist – Kentucky

Start Date: March 16, 2026
Location: Frankfort, Kentucky
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift; self-scheduling with 4-week rotation; every other weekend required

Highlights:

  • 174-bed acute care facility with ED, ICU, and NICU
  • Level 3 Trauma Center, Stroke Center, and Level 2 NICU designation
  • Advanced equipment including brand new BiPAPs, Aerogen devices, Hamilton C-1, Airvos, and Avea Ventilators
  • Meditec documentation system
  • Self-scheduling system for work-life balance
  • NICU experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn encouraged

Requirements:

  • Active Kentucky state Respiratory Therapist license (required)
  • Hospital-based respiratory therapy experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • NRP certification (can be provided on-site if not currently held)
  • Proficiency in arterial blood gas analysis
