Job Opportunity – Nuclear Medicine Technologist – New Mexico

Start Date: June 15, 2026
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 40 hours per week; minimal call required (weekdays 4:00 PM–6:00 AM, weekends 24-hour coverage)

Highlights:

• Work with advanced imaging technology including 4 general rooms, 1 SPECT/CT, and 2 PET/CT scanners
• Perform diverse diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including FDG PET/CT, PSMA, Dotatate, I-131 therapies, Lutathera, and Xofigo
• 554-bed Level I Trauma Center with teaching hospital and children's hospital designation
• Comprehensive case mix including cardiac imaging, bone scans, HIDA, MUGA, renograms, infection imaging, and specialty procedures
• 13-week assignment with guaranteed 40 hours per week; Cerner EMR system
• First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of experience

Requirements:

• ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required
• ARRT (R) certification required
• New Mexico State Nuclear Medicine License (or eligible to obtain)
• BLS certification required
• PET license preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience
• Proficiency in IV starts, phlebotomy, PACS, and handling radioactive materials
• Experience with both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Must reside outside 100-mile radius from facility
• COVID vaccination required (medical and religious exemptions accepted with documentation)
• Flu vaccination required (exemptions available)
