Start Date: May 4, 2026
Location: Cartersville, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 4:1 patient ratio; every other weekend required; no call

Highlights:

• Progressive care/stepdown unit with 28-bed capacity serving adult and geriatric populations
• Epic charting system; comprehensive telemetry and cardiac monitoring experience required
• First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of experience
• Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
• Interdisciplinary team support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off; holiday coverage required per facility policy

Requirements:

• Georgia or Compact RN license (must be active at time of application)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of progressive care, telemetry, or stepdown experience
• Experience with 4-5:1 patient ratios
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Strong skills in cardiac telemetry, drip management and titration, post-cardiac procedures, blood product administration, central line care, tracheostomy care, and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Two supervisory references (manager level or above) highly preferred at time of submission
• Full compliance required prior to start date; orientation is 12 hours
