Location: Pikeville, Kentucky

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 48 hours per week, Night shift, 8-week assignment

Highlights:

• Specialize in caring for young adult, adult, and elderly patients requiring cardiac monitoring and interventional cardiac care
• Utilize advanced skills including pre/post CABG care, sheath management (pull and maintain), and hemodynamic monitoring
• Competency in specialized procedures such as Angioseal/Vasoseal, sedation, pain management, chest tube care, central lines, and infusion therapy
• Work with specialized medications, drip titration, ACT machine, and multiple information management systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams while serving as a patient advocate and educator

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Active RN license required
• Current CPR, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and EKG certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required; 5 years preferred
• Travel nursing experience required
• Demonstrated competency in cardiac monitoring, pre/post interventional cardiac procedures, and advanced patient assessment
