Location: Jackson, Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day shift 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM; Call coverage 1 night per week (2:30 PM – 6:00 AM) plus every 4th-5th weekend (Saturday 7:00 AM – Monday 6:00 AM)

Highlights:

• Comprehensive cardiovascular and thoracic surgical experience including CABG, valve replacements (MVR, AVR, TVR), ECMO, TAVR, TCAR, Impella procedures, and thoracic/lung cases
• Exposure to advanced robotic cardiovascular surgery using Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
• 1:1 patient ratio with daily census of 3-4 cases in a 692-bed facility
• Epic charting system with robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• 36-hour orientation period with one pre-approved time off period available
• 13-week assignment with local and first-time travelers welcomed at the same rate

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular operating room experience required
• Active RN license (Compact or Tennessee state license required at time of submission)
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months (must pass competency exam)
• Broad competency in all cardiovascular surgical cases and procedures including CABG, valve replacements, ECMO, TAVR, TCAR, Impella insertion/removal, laser lead extraction, and thoracic/lung procedures
• Cardiovascular and thoracic robotic surgery experience required
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only); Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
• Must meet fit test requirements for respiratory protection
