Location: Charlottesville, Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 13-week assignment, night shift, 36 or 48 hours per week. Every other weekend and every other holiday required. Self-scheduling model available with manager coordination to accommodate preferences when possible. No time off requests permitted for Memorial Day weekend or Independence Day.

Highlights:

• Work in a comprehensive children's hospital providing care across NICU, PICU, high-risk deliveries, and acute care pediatrics
• 111-bed pediatric facility with Level IV NICU and dedicated Pediatric ICU serving patients under 18
• Complex congenital heart program including transplants and ECMO capabilities
• Multidisciplinary team environment requiring strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Experience with specialized equipment including Bunnell Jet Ventilator and HFOV 3100A
• Epic charting system experience required

Requirements:

• Virginia state license required at time of submission (pending licenses accepted with temporary license obtained before start date; must hold another state license to qualify for temporary)
• Current certifications: RRT, BLS, NRP required; PALS and ACCS preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Level IV NICU experience mandatory
• Cardiac PICU experience strongly preferred
• Competency in caring for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents across all acuity levels
• Proficiency with high-frequency ventilators, oscillators, and nitric oxide delivery
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions; COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Professional references required for submission
