Description
Start Date: June 1, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts or 12-hour night shifts available
Highlights:
- Specialized bone marrow transplant unit treating complex hematology and oncology patients
- Comprehensive case mix including autologous, allogeneic, and syngeneic transplants, plus CAR-T therapy
- 36-bed unit with daily census of approximately 33 patients and full interdisciplinary support team
- Epic charting system in use; 72 hours of orientation provided
- Work with advanced treatment modalities for leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and myelodysplastic syndromes
- May float to other medical-surgical oncology units as needed
Requirements:
- Current RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience, with at least 1 year of current specialty experience
- Inpatient hematology oncology experience required (minimum 1 year)
- Experience with leukemia/blood dyscrasias, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma is mandatory
- Medical-surgical and telemetry experience required
- Epic charting system experience required
- BLS and ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification required
- ACLS preferred
- Proficiency in chemotherapy administration, blood product administration, central line care, PICC management, and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
- Two professional references required, including one from a manager or director

Units are nice, staff are kind. Single patient rooms with 4:1 ratios day and night on med surg.
Cons
Scheduled every weekend, floated for the first 6 weeks of contract every shift. Not traveler friendly even though they say they are. Staff are treated well not travelers.
