Schedule: Day and night shift rotations available; 4 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period (Friday or Saturday for nights; Saturday or Sunday for days); no on-call requirement

Highlights:

• 27-bed Emergency Department with high volume and fast-paced environment
• Patient ratios typically 4-6:1 with appropriate staffing support
• Diverse case mix including RSI, sepsis interventions, stroke protocols with tPA administration, central line placement, psychiatric care, and interfacility transfers
• EMR system: Meditech
• No floating to other units required
• Collaborative team environment with RN and medic support

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Must have completed 2-3 travel assignments
• Experience with high acuity ERs and patient ratios of 5:1 strongly preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• ENPC, NRP, and NIH certifications preferred
• Active Virginia RN license or compact state license
