Schedule: Weekend nights (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), 12-hour shifts, 18:45 - 07:15, 36 hours per week

Highlights:

• Primary cardiac and stroke telemetry unit with high-acuity patient population
• 13-week assignment with weekend-only schedule (Friday-Sunday nights)
• Fast-paced environment with 78-90 patient turnovers weekly; team lead support for admissions/discharges
• Experience with cardiac drips, pre/post cardiac procedures, and stroke patients
• Epic charting system; 36-hour orientation period provided
• Ratios of 1:5-6 patients with flexibility required based on census

Requirements:

• Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state)
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac telemetry experience required; PCU/stepdown experience preferred
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• IV start and telemetry monitoring skills; ability to manage and titrate cardiac drips
• Experience with cardiac catheterization, pacemaker, ICD patients, and stroke care
• Comfortable with high patient volumes, float assignments, and on-call requirements
• First-time travelers accepted; must pass EKG testing prior to start
