Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: June 1, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Variable shifts including 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts on days and evenings; call coverage required Monday-Friday 9:00 PM–6:30 AM and weekends 6:30 AM–7:00 PM and 7:00 PM–6:30 AM; weekend and holiday coverage as needed

Highlights:

• Work in a dynamic Level 1 Trauma Center with an 18-bed Operating Room performing 45-50 surgical procedures daily
• Diverse surgical case mix including General, Robotic, Laparoscopic, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant surgeries
• Primary focus on circulating for Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases
• EPIC electronic medical records system
• 13-week travel assignment with one pre-approved time off period
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience preferred
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Valid Compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager, director, or formal leadership role
• Willingness to float to different units within the organization as needed
• Preferred experience in ENT, GU, Plastics, and Burns procedures
• Flu vaccination required with medical exemptions only
