Location: Jackson, Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 8:45 AM – 9:15 PM with weekend on-call coverage (typically 1-2 weekends per month); holiday on-call shifts as applicable

Highlights:

• Circulate in all surgical areas across diverse specialties including craniotomies, laparoscopic procedures, endovascular cases, orthopedics, GYN, urology, and robotic surgery (excluding cardiovascular surgery)
• Work with a high-volume surgical department supporting 42 operating rooms and serving all patient age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Epic EMR system utilized; recent experience within the last 12 months required
• 36-hour orientation provided to support successful onboarding
• Interdisciplinary team support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and radiology
• Local candidates and first-time travelers accepted at the same competitive rate

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact or Tennessee state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience
• Current AHA BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• Epic charting experience within the last 12 months required; competency exam must be passed
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only); flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
• Ability to float within skill set as needed
