Job Opportunity – Respiratory Therapist – Wisconsin

Start Date: June 15, 2026
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 0.9 FTE, Day/Evening shifts (8 or 12-hour), including 0700-1900, 0700-1530, and 1500-2330; every other weekend and holidays required; one on-call shift per 6-week schedule period

Requirements:

• Wisconsin Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license (pending accepted at submittal, must be in hand prior to start)
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
• Graduate of a COARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• BLS certification (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a staff respiratory therapist in an acute care setting
• Previous experience in a Level 1 Trauma center or similar-sized academic hospital required
• Pediatric and adult experience strongly preferred
• Prior travel experience required
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
