Job Opportunity – Endoscopy Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: May 18, 2026
Location: Rome, New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday with flexible scheduling; 40 hours guaranteed per week

Highlights:

  • High-volume endoscopy unit running two procedural rooms daily with 12-14 cases per room (maximum 16)
  • Diverse case mix supporting 4 general surgeons, 2 part-time GI physicians, and 1 full-time GI physician
  • ERCP experience required for advanced procedural support
  • EMR systems include Paragon and Pyxis for streamlined documentation and medication management
  • Call coverage required approximately 6 days per month with possible weekend rotation
  • 30-mile radius restriction applies

Requirements:

  • Active New York RN license in good standing
  • Previous endoscopy nursing experience required
  • Demonstrated competency in ERCP procedures
  • Proficiency with Paragon EMR and Pyxis medication systems preferred
  • Flexibility to accommodate varying procedural schedules
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
