Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: May 11, 2026
Location: San Antonio, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts; every 3rd weekend required

Highlights:

  • Patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2, or as assigned to the Obstetrics Emergency Department
  • Work within a full-service perinatal unit with opportunities for complex care
  • Structured preceptorship and comprehensive onboarding with designated trained staff
  • Full-time, 12-hour shift schedule with predictable weekend rotation
  • Supportive nursing environment focused on professional development and competency validation

Requirements:

  • Active RN License in Texas or current Compact State license
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
  • Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association only)
  • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
  • Current C-EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification from NCC or AWHONN Intermediate FHM course completion
  • Minimum 1 year of perinatal or labor and delivery nursing experience preferred
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
