Description
Start Date: May 7, 2026
Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule; no block scheduling; flexibility required
Highlights:
- Specialized cardiac step-down unit caring for STEMI/NSTEMI, chest pain rule-out, CHF, and cardiothoracic surgery patients post-ICU
- Experience with noninvasive ventilation, antiarrhythmic IV medications, and peripheral vascular compromise management
- No on-call requirements
- Opportunity to utilize critical thinking skills in a dynamic cardiac care environment
- Float assignments may include Med/Surg or ER for CVCU/Med Surg holds
Requirements:
- Current Oklahoma RN license
- Minimum 2 years of Step-Down Unit (SDU) experience required
- ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Willingness and ability to float to Medical/Surgical or Emergency Department units as needed
- Schedule flexibility is essential
