Description
Start Date: May 4, 2026
Location: Bakersfield, California
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 2 night shifts per week (no block scheduling)
Highlights:
- Provide independent nursing care to acutely ill patients under the supervision of a nurse leader
- Work with Cerner EMR system in a collaborative, team-based care environment
- Deliver compassionate, holistic care that supports mind, body, and spirit healing
- Participate in professional governance councils and contribute to nursing practice standards
- Engage in evidence-based practices and quality care initiatives
- Flexible schedule with only 2 night shifts per week
Requirements:
- Valid and unrestricted California Registered Nurse License (RN)
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
- Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program (bachelor's or associate degree preferred)
- Knowledge and experience with Cerner EMR
- Advanced NRP certification
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Heart Monitor (FHM) certification
- AWHONN Maternal Fetal Triage Index (MFTI) certification
- Current AHA Healthcare Provider BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Current AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Knowledge of advanced nursing theory, techniques, medical terminology, instruments, equipment, and pharmacology
- English language proficiency (speak, read, write)
