Job Opportunity – Vascular Interventional Radiology Technologist – Virginia

Start Date: June 8, 2026
Location: Charlottesville, Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, rotating call every 4th week

Highlights:

  • 13-week contract with 40 hours of orientation
  • Vascular interventional radiology imaging support in the OR setting
  • Work with advanced Siemens ARTIS PHENO equipment
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • One pre-approved time off period available per contract
  • Trauma Level I experience preferred

Requirements:

  • ARRT VI (Vascular Interventional) certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Active Virginia state license required (pending accepted if currently licensed in another state; must be in-hand by Wednesday before start date)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in interventional radiology
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Skills in angioplasty, carotid stenting, endovascular interventions, EVAR, hybrid OR, interventional radiology, prep access site, Siemens equipment, special procedures, TEVAR, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, ultrasound, and vascular closure systems
  • Must reside outside 50-mile radius from facility
  • Flu vaccine required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccine not required
  • Professional references required
