Description
Start Date: May 26, 2026
Location: Miami, Florida
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Hospital-based rotation with shift coverage; may provide respiratory support across specialty and general units as needed
Highlights:
- Work in a 447-bed tertiary care and teaching facility with Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center designation
- NICU/PICU respiratory therapy focus with advanced technologies including High Flow Devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servo s, Nitric Oxide, and Heliox
- Collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment with supportive leadership structure including Director, Manager, and Supervisor coverage
- Level 3 NICU and Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center providing high-acuity, diverse patient care
- Documentation via Meditech EMR system
- Opportunity to utilize advanced respiratory therapies and critical thinking in a fast-paced setting
Requirements:
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
- BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience
- Current NICU/PICU experience strongly preferred
- Meditech experience preferred

I worked in the Respiratory department. The Respiratory manager Alex was a fantastic woman. She does all the on boarding education and she’s your number one person to call for any clinical information scheduling information. She was fantastic.
