Location: Pikeville, Kentucky
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 8-week assignment, 48 hours per week, Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Highlights:

• Provide professional nursing care for young adult, adult, and elderly patients across multiple specialties
• Gain experience in specialized procedures including pre/post-operative care, pain management, chest tube care, traction, and drainage system management
• Work with specialized IV drips and titration, central line access, transfusion therapy, and advanced monitoring
• Utilize NIH Stroke Scale and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Short-term 8-week travel assignment ideal for experienced RNs seeking variety and professional growth
• Opportunity to serve as team leader and mentor other nursing staff

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
• Active RN license
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and EKG certifications required; CPR certification required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required; 5 years preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Competency in specialized procedures including bariatric, orthopedic, trauma, neurosurgical, and genitourinary care
