Location: Wilmington, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 1:6 patient ratio, every other weekend required, 13-26 week assignments available

Highlights:

• Medical Surgical unit with Oncology patient population, daily census of 42 beds
• Chemotherapy/biotherapy administration experience required (IV, PO, and injection routes)
• Comprehensive orientation with 24 hours of training over 2 shifts
• Access to robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response, pharmacy, and more
• Experience with EPIC charting system and PYXIS medication management
• First-time travelers welcome with minimum 2 years of RN experience

Requirements:

• Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state license required by start date)
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient nursing experience in Medical Surgical setting
• BLS certification and Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC) required
• Proficiency in accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, central line care, PICC line management, and wound care
• Experience with colostomy care, surgical drains, chest tubes, isolation precautions, and airway management
• Willingness to float to similar units and alternate care locations including ED inpatient holding areas
• Availability to serve on Storm Team/Hurricane Team and respond during catastrophic events as needed
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
