Schedule: Days, 3x12-hour shifts; Patient ratio 4-5:1 on days, 6:1 on nights

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit specializing in orthopedics and bariatric patients
• 25-bed unit with daily census of approximately 20 patients
• Epic EMR system with Pyxis medication management
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more
• Orientation provided every Monday with reimbursable pre-assignment modules (up to 16 hours)
• Flexibility to float to other units based on patient census and demonstrated competencies

Requirements:

• Active South Carolina RN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing
• 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring, and EKG
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
• First-time travelers considered with at least 3 years of specialty experience
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccine not required
