Location: Charlotte, North Carolina

Schedule: 3x12 Night Shifts (18:45 - 07:15), 36 hours per week, every other weekend required

• 48-bed unit with average daily census of 34 patients
• Epic charting system with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
• Common patient diagnoses include total knee replacement, total hip replacement, spinal fusions, and women's surgical overflow
• 13-week contract with no call requirement

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical Ortho experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• North Carolina or Compact State RN license required at time of start
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start date
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with telemetry, peripheral line care/management, and non-invasive airway management
• Knowledge of isolation precautions/PPE and use of rapid response/code teams
• Willingness to float within the hospital based on census and unit needs
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
