Description
Start Date: June 15, 2026
Location: Wilmington, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 40 hours per week; flexible options include 5x8-hour shifts (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) or 4x10-hour shifts with staggered start times
Highlights:
- Float coverage between two outpatient radiation oncology clinics in the coastal region, approximately 30 minutes apart
- Work with state-of-the-art equipment including multiple Varian linear accelerators and CT simulators
- Daily patient volume of approximately 110 patients across 3 linacs and 1 CT sim at primary location
- Collaborative team environment with always at least one other therapist, plus onsite MD and RN support throughout the day
- 13-week contract with no call, no weekends, and minimal orientation required
- ARIA charting system experience required; no block cutting, solo CT sims, or dose calculations expected
Requirements:
- Current ARRT-T (Radiation Therapy) certification
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1-2 years of radiation therapy experience
- Proficiency with external beam therapy, IMRT, and related imaging modalities (CBCT/kV/mV)
- Experience with ARIA system and Varian equipment preferred
- North Carolina or Compact state license (pending acceptable for submission, must be in hand by start date)
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
- First-time travelers accepted; local candidates welcome
