Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Florida

Start Date: July 7, 2026

Location: Vero Beach, Florida

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week on a 3x12 shift schedule; 2 weekends per month required. Float coverage to multiple hospital locations within 20 miles may be required to meet facility needs.

• Comprehensive orientation with study materials provided for required competency assessments

Requirements:

• Active Florida RN license (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (must be active at time of submission)
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start date
• Epic charting experience at level 3 or 4 facility required
• Skills in arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP, ventilator care, central line management, IV vasopressor administration, and dysrhythmia management
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical or religious exemptions only)
• Nicotine-free status required; 10-panel drug screen with cotinine testing within 12 months of start
• All requested time off must be submitted at initial application
• Two professional references from direct supervisors or nurse managers required
• Successful completion of EKG and pharmacology competency tests during orientation (study materials provided)
