Job Opportunity – Interventional Radiology Technologist – Virginia

Start Date: June 8, 2026

Location: Charlottesville, Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, rotating call coverage every 4th week

Highlights:

  • Imaging support in the operating room with focus on vascular interventional radiology procedures
  • 13-week assignment with 40 hours of orientation provided
  • Work with state-of-the-art Siemens ARTIS PHENO equipment
  • Epic charting system experience preferred
  • One pre-approved time off period available per contract
  • Trauma Level I experience preferred

Requirements:

  • ARRT (Vascular Interventional) certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Valid Virginia state license required (may submit with pending license if currently licensed in another state)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
  • Must reside outside 50-mile radius from facility
  • Professional references required

Preferred Skills:

  • Angioplasty and carotid stenting
  • EVAR and TEVAR procedures
  • Hybrid OR and special procedures experience
  • Thrombolysis/thrombectomy and vascular closure systems
  • Upper and lower extremity angiography
  • Ultrasound and prep access site techniques
