Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week, every other weekend required

Highlights:

• Work in a specialized 41-bed telemetry unit focused on renal and limb preservation care
• Collaborative interdisciplinary team including hospitalists, RN navigators, pharmacy, PT/OT, and dialysis specialists
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 with telemetry monitoring capabilities
• Epic charting system with 24 hours of structured orientation including preceptor support and EMR training
• 13-week contract with self-scheduling based on unit needs
• Care for diverse patient population including ESRD, ARF, vascular procedures, CHF, and diabetic patients

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• NC or Compact state RN license (must be active by start date)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications preferred
• Strong telemetry skills including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• EKG lead placement knowledge and ZOLL competency required
• Willingness to float to other units based on skill set and census needs
• Must complete facility EKG testing prior to start date
