Job Opportunity – CVICU Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: June 1, 2026

Highlights:

• Level One Trauma Center experience delivering high-acuity cardiovascular care
• Immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patient population
• Advanced hemodynamic monitoring including ventilators, arterial lines, spinal drains, and ECG interpretation
• Epic EMR system utilized throughout the facility
• Competency assessment required within 24 hours of application submission
• Navy blue scrubs provided as standard uniform

Requirements:

• Active RN license in New York State (or eligible)
• Minimum 2-3 years of staff-level CVICU experience required
• Level One Trauma Center experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Demonstrated competency with temporary pacemakers, vasoactive and inotropic drip titrations
• Advanced skills in ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Ability to complete competency testing promptly upon submission
