Job Opportunity – Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist – Southern California

Start Date: June 2, 2026
Location: Orange County, California
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 4x10s or 5x8s (based on facility preference); variable start times between 0700-0900; rotating weekends and on-call coverage

Highlights:

  • Work primarily in PET/CT with potential cross-coverage in Nuclear Medicine as needed
  • 426-bed acute care Magnet-designated facility with 4 imaging rooms (3 NM, 1 PET/CT)
  • Average daily volume: 6-7 PET/CT scans and 9 general nuclear medicine studies including cardiacs, bone scans, renal, VQ, parathyroid, and In-111 whole body scans
  • Siemens equipment platform: Symbia SPECT/CT, Symbia, and Biograph Horizon PET/CT
  • Epic charting system utilized; experience highly preferred
  • Free parking and supportive interdisciplinary team environment

Requirements:

  • ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification with valid California state license in hand
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year Nuclear Medicine experience with at least 6 months PET experience (required)
  • CT experience for attenuation correction
  • Siemens equipment experience strongly preferred
  • Epic charting experience highly preferred
  • Must be available for post-shift call (1730-0700) and rotating weekend coverage
  • Willingness to float between Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT as needed
  • First-time travelers considered with 2+ years of experience
